ME-commercer – Module 5

In MODULE 5 you will find an overview of the communication tools that can be used to promote an e-commerce activity: keyword advertising, social media marketing activities; the activities of SEO; email marketing; comparator sites. You will also discover some analytic tools to measure the results of communication and promotion activities.

Section 1

Online marketing

  • In this section of the Module you will find an overview of the main online marketing tools; a focus on the concept of Client Relationship Management and on online chats as a tool for dialogue with its customers.

Section 2

SEM – Search Engine Marketing

  • In this section you will find an introduction to the SEM concept and an introductory guide to Google search engine optimization.

Section 3

Social marketing

  • In this section of the module, we present an overview of the operating methods, opportunities and risks of the main social media used in the business and an in-depth analysis of the tools used for their analysis.

Section 4

E-mail marketing

  • In this section you will find out what e-mail marketing and direct e-mail marketing are, the most widespread forms and measuring instruments.

Section 5

Analytic tools

  • Everything on the web is measurable. In this section you will learn how to use the analytic tools that Google provides: Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Case stories

  • The Module 5 stories introduce the digital marketing through newsletters, Facebook pages, Twitter accounts, Youtube channels and Instagram image collections. This selection includes a collection of examples to work on and learn from.
